Meet Kolawole Coker
Kolawole Coker from Anoka, MN is our latest Campaign for Better Hearing Give Back recipient. He is originally from Nigeria, where he worked as a teacher and a principal education officer for the Ministry of Education. Due to political and societal changes in the country, Kolawole moved with his family to the United States in 2000. He first came to HearingLife in 2021; however, he was unable to afford hearing aids. His financial situation has not changed since then, so the HearingLife staff decided to gift him with brand-new hearing aids.
Kolawole is also an avid reader and a coin collector. With his new aids, he will be able to stay active in his community, hear his pastor at church, and understand friends and family, including his three grandchildren.
Congratulations, Kolawole!
