Meet Robert Crump
Robert Crump, of Fuquay Varina, NC, is our newest Campaign for Better Hearing Give Back Program recipient. Robert has major hearing loss, a result of his time while incarcerated. Following his release, he has put his heart and soul into rebuilding his life and supporting his family. Unfortunately, his hearing loss has resulted in him losing several jobs, and has made it difficult for him to participate in family events.
Robert and his family have tried to obtain funding for hearing aids. They were unsuccessful and ended up trying to apply for both CareCredit and Healthcare Finance Direct, but were not approved. They also reached out to see if HearingLife would accept monthly payments. HearingLife staff decided to help Robert get back on his feet and gift him brand-new hearing aids. After being fitted, Robert was thrilled to finally be able to hear things again and looks forward to not “feel[ing] left out of family and life in general.”
