Meet Justin Stevenson
Ever since he was a child, Mr. Justin Stevenson, now age 36, has struggled with hearing loss. The challenges were especially difficult in school where he was teased by other kids, and hearing loss has resulted in difficulties in many aspects of his life. Having a hearing impairment has also impacted his career. Although Justin works in construction during the day and as a cook at a diner, it has limited his career options. With a congenital hearing loss of 55 dB, Justin has been coming to HearingLife (formerly Avada) since he was 19 years old.
A brighter future with free hearing aids
An outdoorsman, Justin’s hearing loss has not kept him from enjoying the activities he loves, like fishing, hunting, boating and swimming. The Campaign hopes that his new hearing aids will help him to enjoy the outdoors even more.
Hearing care provider William Yost is pleased that the Campaign for Better Hearing is able to help Justin improve his employment prospects and achieve other life-long goals through better hearing and communication skills.
Congratulations, Mr. Stevenson!
