Mark Harkleroad is the latest Campaign for Better Hearing Give Back recipient. Mark first came to the HearingLife office when his friend Alexis brought him in for a hearing test. Mark works for an organization mentoring Alexis’ son with special needs. Alexis remembers him staying with a child he mentored in the hospital for eight days, providing the boy comfort, as well as allowing his mother to work. Mark’s hearing loss has increased, and she believes that if he could hear better, he could live better and do more of what he loves: helping his community. The Campaign for Better Hearing agreed and gifted him with new hearing aids.
Mark looks forward to being able to hear the children he volunteers with and provide them with greater experiences and more opportunities to have fun. He also looks forward to spending time with his loved ones. During the fitting of his new hearing aids, he was amazed at the sound quality, and grateful for the gift of hearing.
Congratulations, Mark!
