Charles Lovelace
Charles Lovelace is our Edina, MN recipient for the Campaign for Better Hearing Give Back Program. Charles’ hearing loss and tinnitus developed after having brain surgery in 1994 and 1995. Previously, his hearing loss did not require hearing aids until this past year; however, he was unable to afford hearing aids due to financial hardships. Charles’ hearing loss caused him to have trouble hearing basic conversations, and has become unsocial, withdrawn and lonely. HearingLife decided to assist him and provide him with brand-new hearing devices.
Charles looks forward to rediscovering his favorite pastimes, including watching TV and visiting the grocery store. His hearing aids will allow him to keep the TV volume low, and meet up with family and friends, including his new grandson, Sebastion. These new devices will greatly improve his quality of life, and keep him safe and happy.
Congratulations, Charles!
