Meet John Gibb
John Gibb, of Cedar Point, NC, is our newest Campaign for Better Hearing Give Back recipient. John, who grew up in Scotland, lost his hearing at 19 as a result of tuberculosis. Although his one-sided hearing loss made things more difficult, he lived a fruitful life as a research chemist. He also went on to have four children and six grandchildren.
His current hearing aids, OPN1s, are five years old and non-functional. John also experienced health problems this past year, resulting in multiple hospital visits. The Campaign for Better Hearing believes he is more than deserving of brand-new hearing aids. His new hearing aids will allow him to spend time with his family, enjoy his retirement and his hobby of painting, and just be a part of the world.
Congratulations, John!
