Meet Charles Feiler
Charles Feiler has been struggling with hearing loss for more than thirteen years, and his six-year-old hearing aids no longer give him the amplification he needs to hear clearly. As a retired employee of General Motors, Charles used to assemble transmissions, a profession which exposed him to loud working environments and quite possibly exacerbated his hearing loss. He is a family man with a wife, four grown children, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He has always put his family first, which meant putting his need for new hearing aids on the back burner.
Because of his selflessness, the team at HearingLife wanted to help Charles, so they nominated him for the Campaign for Better Hearing Give Back program.
New hearing aids give new opportunities
Charles looks forward to being able to hear his family and friends again, and being able to communicate and participate in conversations. When Charles is not spending time with his great-grandchildren, he enjoys fishing, cooking, playing horseshoes and playing ping pong. Now, he will be able to hear the table tennis balls bounce!
Congratulations, Charles!
