Colleen Smith joined Kenwood Hearing Center, a part of HearingLife, in December 2019 after working for a local ENT group for nine years. She previously worked with mobile care and at several hospitals. She received her master’s degree and Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University.
“I enjoy helping people and being able to help my clients hear better.” Colleen is licensed by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Stephen Shoupe grew up in Toledo/Holland, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Marketing from Bluffton University in 1993. Stephen has been a State of Ohio-licensed Hearing Aid Specialist/Fitter since 2009. His career in hearing healthcare began after an extended conversation with a well-respected member of the audiology community. Stephen had long been involved in various positions helping people, so this was a natural transition. He brought his extensive experience assessing and treating hearing issues to Kenwood Hearing Center, now a HearingLife Company, in 2021.

Stephen currently lives in Perrysburg, Ohio, with his fiancée and two dogs. When not helping people hear better, he enjoys traveling, time with friends and family or just spending a quiet night at home watching sports, especially football.
