Meet Beverly Prather
Beverly Prather has been a patient with HearingLife since 2015. With concerns about her hearing, she decided to schedule an assessment in April 2019 at her local office. The hearing care provider discovered that Beverly had binaural hearing loss (meaning she has hearing loss in both ears), but felt discouraged to demo the hearing aids knowing she could not afford them. Daily, Beverly struggled to hear her granddaughter whom she raises, along with the TV and sermons at her church.
“I never win anything”
Amber, the Hearing Instrument Specialist at HearingLife in Claremore, OK thought Ms. Prather would be a perfect candidate for the Give Back program.
When she was selected, Beverly was in disbelief. “I never win anything. It didn’t seem real until I got here, I cannot believe this!” Beverly told Amber when she heard she won.
The Campaign is so happy we could make a difference in Beverly’s life to help her hear better.
